Although Axtell Plastic Surgery is the areas newest practice of its kind and serves patients in Newton, Salina, Hutchinson and Wichita, board-certified plastic surgeon Susan Lovelle, M.D., brings years of extensive experience to each procedure.

Lovelle has been in private practice since 1996, and graduated with honors from the prestigious Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. Before relocating to Newton with her husband, board-certified ophthalmologist Kevin Allen, M.D.. and their two children, Lovelle worked as a surgeon in Staten Island, N.Y., and Elizabeth City, N.C., and is the founder of an all-inclusive medical spa on the east coast. A former ballet dancer, Lovelle once performed with the world-renowned Dance Theatre of Harlem.
